Everything a Nigerian clinic needs

From the consulting room to the diaspora living room, ProxiHealth handles the full care continuum.

Diaspora Care Bridge

Family members abroad can securely view a loved one's health records, prescriptions, and test results in real time. No fax, no overseas calls to clinics.

NDPA 2023 Compliant

All health data is encrypted in transit and at rest, aligned with Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 and NDPR 2019, so patients and clinics remain fully protected.

Complete EMR for Nigerian Clinics

Manage visits, prescriptions, test results, referrals, immunisations, and doctor's notes — all in one structured, audit-logged system.

NHIS Billing Ready

Assign NHIA tariff codes directly to each visit and submit claims faster. Built-in NHIS eligibility checks verify policy status before treatment.

Offline-First Architecture

Clinical staff can continue recording visits, triage notes, and prescriptions even without internet. All data syncs automatically when connectivity returns.

Zero-Trust Security

Every record access is audit-logged. Access grants expire automatically, inactive accounts trigger re-verification, and security scans run on schedule.

How it works

From clinic to diaspora in four steps

1

Clinic registers

A Nigerian clinic or hospital signs up and their medical staff onboard in minutes.

2

Records go digital

Doctors record visits, prescriptions, and test results directly in ProxiHealth's structured EMR.

3

Family gets access

With patient consent, diaspora family members are granted secure, time-limited access to view records.

4

Care is coordinated

Family abroad can share records with overseas physicians, arrange second opinions, and support medication management.

Privacy and compliance

NDPA 2023 and NDPR 2019 compliant

ProxiHealth is built to meet Nigeria's data protection requirements. Here is exactly how.

End-to-end encryption

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. No health record is ever transmitted or stored in plain text.

Audit log on every access

Every record view, update, and deletion is logged with the actor's identity, timestamp, and IP address. Audit logs cannot be deleted by regular users.

Time-limited access grants

Diaspora family access expires automatically after 365 days. Inactive accounts are flagged for re-verification after 90 days to prevent stale credentials.

Explicit patient consent

No third party can access a patient's records without an explicit, signed invite from the clinic or the patient. The patient can revoke access at any time.

Data minimisation

ProxiHealth collects only the clinical data necessary for care. No advertising profiles, no behavioural tracking, no sale of health data to third parties.

Right to erasure

Patients can request deletion of their records in accordance with NDPA 2023 Section 34. Clinics retain copies only for the statutory retention period required by Nigerian medical law.

Breach notification readiness

Security scans run automatically to detect anomalous access. In the event of a breach, ProxiHealth supports the NDPA 2023 requirement to notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) within 72 hours.

Role-based access control

Doctors, nurses, clinic admins, patients, family members, and pharmacies each have strictly scoped permissions. No role can access data outside its defined scope.

Regulated under Nigerian law

ProxiHealth operates under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), enforced by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), and the earlier Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 (NDPR) issued by NITDA. Health data processing also aligns with the National Health Act 2014, which governs the confidentiality of medical records in Nigeria.
